instead of autorun the install, find the setup file, select properties, select compatability mode, and select either win95 or win98/Me.do not use wireless mouse and/or keyboard.
find MM6,7,8.exe file and run it in compatability mode.
run mm7,8 confifiguration utility and select software mode for video and audio.
create your own shortcut from mm6,7,8.exe file
sometimes there is a problem with mss32.dll file, unpack it. check the archive boards here for a thread that tells u how to do it.
if u get reverb, turn off hardware sound acceleration in the "sounds and audio devices" in control panel.
