MM7 wont work on both XP and 98 please help 12/19/2004, 16:25:06 |
Hi,
I have tried to install the game on XP few days ago and I had a problem starting it and then searched for issues and decided to install 98 and to play it. However, after instaling the game on 98 it still didn't work. I have worked through every single issue I could find but I could not get it to work. The game starts and after I set the stats for party it starts to load a game and then brings an error screen. Something like could not read d:/mm7src... odmap.cpp regardless on which CD drive I insert the play disc and i do not even have two hd partitions. While installing the game there was a probelem with data9.cab but after creating image I have managed to install it without any error report. I thing that some of the files are damaged on the instalation. What I think the image does is that it creates "fake" file and the installation is seemingly ok. Does the play disc contains odmap.cpp? And does anyone knows to which king of problem this message reffers? Also I would be extremly greatfull if someone could send me data9.cab it is about 1mb. My e-mail is mdrancic@sezampro.yu Regards |
