    1. Check the video settings. Is your video card recognized correctly?
    2. Try "software mode". Does the game run fullscreen?
    3. What about your OpenGL settings? MM7 uses OpenGL graphics.
    4. DirectX? It is known that MM7 runs well with DirectX 7. It is also known that particular versions of DirectX are incompatible among itself. IIRC, the game runs with DirectX 8, too, but I have no experience with MM7 and DirectX 9.
