What to play if you want a pretty darn good RPG

    The Elf Herself writes:

I can name at least two that are, in my opinion, highly under-rated. Both are more like the old RPG's than are the Elder Scrolls. The oldest is Sacred 2 (re-mastered as Sacred 2 Gold.) The others are by Bioware, I believe, though no company is listed. Those games are Grimrock and Grimrock 2. The Grimrocks are unique by harking back to Sid Meiers' Civilization 5 (or 4, I don't remember exactly.) The developer has allowed a modding tool, whereby you can design a dungeon of your own to practice on, then transport your party to the regular game. (Since characters in Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale can also be transported, I think that proves that Bioware has a hand in it.)
    P. S. I've given up on MMX Legacy: it's just not fun.
