The Elf Herself writes:
Well, tomorrow Elf will probably become the oldest female gamer in America, now that the woman who played uh, "Skyrim," I believe, and helped players with really good advice on difficult dungeons, and is apparently no longer with us. I don't know how old she was (is?) but I think she was 91 when I was about 80. Tomorrow I will be 88 in real time, while my avatar is past the thousand mark. (I'm an Irish Elf, one of the wee folk. I was kidnapped from Tara as a child, and grew up among Celtic faeries and elves in Skara Brae.) I brewed up some of my magic Elf Ale for the occasion, and cordially invite you all to join in. Canada also has some goodies, but I can't remember the exact brews. Prosit! P. S. Okay, I'll 'fess up: I'll be 88.
And I'll wear the requisite purple dress with a red hat, as per the poem. (My mother told me that when I was 80, I could wear any darn thing I chose, style be d*mned. Bless you all.
