Peter, I honestly don't know how to avoid the bugs. Does the configuration of the planets matter? Do you have to circle three times widdershins while reciting the magic words? I just don't know. 90% of the crashes I experienced were due to Windows, Steam, or Ubisoft deciding to upgrade something or other while I was in the middle of a game. That said, I'm still hooked. I keep thinking that if I get ju-u-st the right party and play just so, maybe I'll succeed. (And yes, I know the definition of madness is to repeat failed actions hoping that the outcome will change. I prefer to think of it as the triumph of hope over experience!)
