But I got to the same position in game in two hours --- when you exactly remember which things to do, in which order, and have even the general navigation schemes for various areas still in your head, it's easy to do the things as good as before (and better). I learnt to swim (from one of the altars down the Fountain Head) and to mountaineer (from some guy in Baywatch). When venturing in mountains, I crossed an area boundary by accident and got instantly engaged with two sprites. They're really hard to kill for me --- goblins and orcs I fell even before they can approach for the mêlée, skeletons and zombies I can whack down in close combat, but those sprites are just cursing me and I can't hit them. There were two ogres, too, but when I exterminated the sprites, the ogres went down after only a small effort. (Stupid curses! They're expensive to remove, and I can't leave them on their own. When my character with Luck of 9 get cursed four times, I just can't let the curses there --- should I get cursed five more times, the character will die, no matter how much HP he has. At least you said it's so, if I recall correctly.)
But there are lots of interesting things in the mountains. I'm glad I can walk over them. I even found a chest with Time Lapse (hope I didn't mashed up the name) spell, so I chose my sorcerer and he knows it now. (But I didn't use it yet --- I don't know what it can do, and had some more important stuff to do.)
So you enjoy when I enjoy the game you were enjoying when you played it. I can't help laughing. But I don't wonder --- it's truly enjoyable.
P. S.: How does the block combat option work? (I asked this question already, but I think you didn't answer and maybe could miss it, so I'm refreshing it. And if the answer isn't as simple as I think, well, the lives of my characters can depend on it --- and you surely don't want make yourself responsible for their repeated deaths, do you? )
