It seems you were absolutely right when you were telling me that MM3 is great.

I found out several interesting things:
Maybe a day ago I was complaining about the lack of information about literally everything in the game. In MM6 you can get the spell description whenever you want (if you know it), item description is served at your will too and even some basic info about your foes are given --- at least the fraction of HP remaining to them, and it seemed to me that there isn't any way to get the item and spell descriptions. In combat I see only general status of monster --- full health (green), injured (yellow), severely injured (red).
And now I found that guilds give you an information about every spell your character can have. If you pay some fee at the smithy, you get your items identified, too. And if you cast Identify Monster (which I purchased as soon as I've seen it in the Albatross Guild), you get even info about your enemies.
I didn't dare to enter the Temple of the Moo because of pits in every corridor one square wide. In the Albatross Guild I got Levitation! Whoa! Now I can concentrate on bashing doors and whacking undead without being damaged by those stupid pits!
And so on. The game makes lots of small problems which can be solved by using skills or paying some mana on appropriate spell, or paying someone in the shop, wagon etc. It's great that you've to pay in order to walk through some squares or suppress those annoying little problems.
Among the other things I went through B1 (Oh No! Bugs! ), exterminated wild fungi colony and peeped into Cyclops' Cavern (killed several fungi inside and went back out), killed some screamers in A3, left ten thousand gold in the Albatross guild, finally found out what the distichon 'the call of the adventure is a call to roam / return again by saying HOME', killed Rat Overlord and freed the Fountain Head protector (which name I've already forgotten) and interrogated fountain heads. Also I promised to return the Golden Allicorn to a muddy hut in B2 and destroyed two orc bases (and exterminated all the orcs in sight of course ).
