and if I was establishing a new email address today that's certainly what I'd do. But so far the inconvenience of having to remember to check 2 separate email addresses is outweighing the inconvenience of having to clear spam. Part of this is gmail's spam filter being absolutely second to none - I don't think it's ever - *ever* - let something through. Any rubbish goes straight to the Spam folder rather than the Inbox & you might remember to check it once every few weeks just in case anything legitimate has been caught. It's clever, it learns, & if it ocassionally does send real email to the Spam folder (which is only ever something like many Facebook notifications coming through in a short time), you can tell it "Not Spam" and it doesn't catch it again.Here endeth the gmail plug
