I can't say with honesty that I really understand what you're going through, because I'm one of the fortunate ones largely unaffected by depression.But my wife is a counsellor, so she sees a good few people suffering from it. (I've never met any of them, of course - the client's privacy is paramount.) I therefore understand it "at third hand", so to speak. I certainly know enough about it to realise that it's an illness as real as any other and that it can cause a huge amount of distress, so as I say, you have my sympathy.
