I finished it last night on MMF mode (the Hive), like Zedd says, Paralyze rings are important (I figured they'd throw something like that so I keep shields, rings etc, or all the conditions resists just in case), But since you can't Llyod's Beacon in there, do it right in front of the entrance and then get the +30 from Kriegspire (Norseland), heal up, then Beacon back. Then stop them with (I love this) "Enter" and pick them off. For some reason, they don't hit that much in Turn Based mode. Get REALLY REALLY REALLY close, and go Sharpmetal (and FireBlast is wonders) happy on them. (For your Knight combine an artifact spear with an artifact sword... about 250 dmg), then chop away at them. Then if it gets bad, Town Portal. And of course, always hire a Spellmaster and Mystic. For the stupid Dead Mages (or whatever) Incinerate them. That's how I did it. =p Except the last last part, I ran out there like a scared little girl. I've died in the Hive and lost 2 million gold pieces too! (I didn't load game, which I usually and constantly did for this playtrhough, but I figured "fine"), and good luck!
