    If you want a real "oldie, but goodie" you ought to try Master of Magic by Microprose. Great old game, came out in 1993, I think. Works fine for me under DosBox V.063. I still play it quite often.

    The Forgotten Realms game were similar to EOB, but had 6 character parties intead of 4. There were about 10 of them made and a couple of spinoffs like the Krynn series, Ravenloft 1 and 2, and several others.

    Ahhh the good old days, fast approching oblivion what with the "new generation" of MMOLRPGers (my 16 year old stepson is one of those). He won't even try Might and Nagic, but does agree with me about the stupidity of paying $75 for a game and then having to pay to play the stupid thing. My 23 year old daughter Samantha is an exception, but those are few and far between nowadays.
