You should do the sewers, find Tamara, and return her to the Seer in Ka'tan. Once that has been accomplished, follow the Seer's instructions to the letter, he will guide you through the mainline quests. In addition to the mainline quests, there are local quests in every town which means you must check every house to find them. You should be around level 150 and completely developed before going ionto Part 2.Yes the Diplomacy skill is critcal. You must have at leat one character with Master Diplomact at 8 points of skill to even talk to most of the Lords and Ladies who give you the first and second promotions.
