    The speakers I have are pretty basic, so I am hoping it is the speakers. I am planning to get new ones today. But I am thinking it is a conflict with the sound card.

    The popping isn't super loud by any means, it is livable. But you just hear that slight popping periodically. Sounds like a little louder foot step every now and then.

    I will need to retest running in the game with Mok's patch. I could have sworn the only time I could run was holding down the Shift button. Which makes me think Mok's patch didn't install for some reason.
