hi i really dont get why every1 here makes such a big deal about the fly key how you cant talk about it here. the game came out over a decade ago and 3d0 isnt even in business anymore. half of the people that bought the game when it came out are like every body else, they bought it, installed it, and problably either threw away or lost the manual/box. i understand that you want to ensure the integrity, but its not like you're giving them the serial to install a 59 dollar game or something. im sorry i know that most of you veterans disagree with me, but i find it outrageous that it is such a big deal to you to supply an eager gamer of a great game his right to know key mappings. further more, the game is no longer available legitamtely anyways. if you go to ebay, which i did, i purchased the game from a supplier which is what most of you recomend, but keep in mind that it was a cd-burned copy with no manual as it stated it would. also, i highly doubt that anywhere in 3d0s copyright section of the manual, did it say that obtaining the game ANYWHERE besides 3d0 and 3d0 only was allowed by law. so i really dont see the difference between a person downloading the game or buying a copied version from ebay is at all different. there for if all of you dont see where im coming from, i will add a section on my mm6 website all about the "secrets" that only a MANUAL owner would know about to my page. again i will reitterate how ridiculous it is to not supply this information to people that WANT to play in my opinion one of the greatest games of all time. it can be very frustrating when you want to play but you lost your manual or it got tossed in a move and you cant remember the controls. flying makes mm6 that much better and every1 should have the chance to know about it.im most sure that jon van canegham WOULD want every1 that still plays his legendary creation to know how to fully use it to the extent of its abilities. he does not receive royalties from the game anymore at least not from people still buying it obviously because you can no longer purchase the game legitametly from the company anymore as it no longer exists, unless Ubisoft for some reason decides to start selling old 3d0 games, but i dont see that happenening. please dont shun me , but i think that you are taking it alittle to far and making it almost like a cult. perhaps that is your intent, that is too intense for the average gamer who just wants to enjoy a great game.
