Wine or Beer , France or UK?

I have just returned from a rare visit to the country of my birth.
    UK.
Sorry but I was not impressed, too many people, too many cars, too much hurry and scurry.
BUT, the BEER, was worth the stress.
There is nothing to beat a pint of hand drawn real ale in and old oak beamed English Inn.

Except perhaps a glass (or few) free "degustation de vin" in a French Vin Yard.

Nice to see you post again Elf.
Do try and make another visit to Finland.
One Finnish brewery has started to make some quite acceptable Cider to an English (Devonshire) recipe using what they claim local grown cider apples.
I am not sure that the optional dead rats that the Devonshire farmers are reputed to throw in are allowed under EU rules.
