MM6 v. XP ![]() 11/30/2003, 18:49:34 |
My new XP-based computer runs M&M 7, 8, & 9 fine in 98 compatability mode. (I went out and purchased the new box of 6, 7, 8, 9 - just to have the newest versions.) But, for M&M6 in compatability 98 mode, I get the message:
Here are the things I have tried, none of which have worked. First of all, there is a file in the M&M6 folder called mss32.dll. (That's pretty much stumped me.) Second, I tried uninstalling, creating a new user, reinstalling. No change. Third, I tried copying the existing file to the window\system32 folder. Finally, I tried installing my "old" version of M&M6 that worked fine on my old computer. Same exact error message. I hope I haven't over extended my webspace here. Any help you have would be greatly appreciated... Thanks. *smiles weakly*
