Widescreen fix?

Hello. I know you can manually modify ScreenWidth and ScreenHeight in autoexec.cfg, but the interface becomes messed up after this. What else parameters can I modify to fix this or is it more complex than that?
    P.S.
Is there any list of arguments for console commands?

    Thank you.

The autoexec.cfg is a LithTech item and the interface was added by NWC. I don't remember the config options, I don't have an active installation, and my notes are on an old HDD somewhere. However....

There's specific info on tweaking the LithTech engine online. Start at the search link below, and please get back to us to tell us your progress.

Well, I did some research...

...and I came to conclusion that the interface and HUD coordinates were hardcoded. The only way to change it is to reverse engineer cshell.dll

Hmmm... Modified versions of cshell.dll are available. Are you using one of those?

I could be wrong about that the cshell alone...

No, I'm using the default in GOG release.
I've never reverse enginereed anything before, but I've decompiled cshell.dll and lithtech.exe. Going to explore them...
I guess, only Ubisoft has the source code for the game?

AFAIK, the source code for cshell isn't available, but ...

OTOH, I know that tinkering with game code can be a lot of fun.

Yes, there is a fix that makes the game run widescreen, but all it does is just stretching 4:3 to 16:9.

Here what I was talking about:
"Using any resolution other than 800x600 results in messed up menus (see menu screenshots section). Some only have some items displaced while others, such as the inventory screen, are totally unusable. This even applies to other 4:3 resolutions such as 1024x768."

    Anyway, thanks for your help

... we'd be happy to post your modified cshell here. Perhaps you'll be able to incorporate the previous fixes by others to make a grand revision. I suspect that Mok's version is a good place to start.
