It's been so long...

How many years have passed since the days we worked on 1.3? I think it was like 15 years ago now, right?..

Anyway, just wanted to ask - I'm sure that Russian version of the patch was originally somewhere on the site, but I can't find it anymore now that I randomly remembered about those good old days...

I hope you're doing well over there. We're dealing with our demons over here. Yes, it was sometime in 2003. I don't think I've done anything with MM9 since then.

(Skraelos helped me adapt our 1.3 patch for the Russian localization. He also spotted a few more bugs we could fix -- and one we couldn't.)

The Russian patch was stored in our FTP folder until our web host took away our FTP access. Now it's in our Files folder at the link below.

God I'm happy to see you Bones

Thanks for the link! I'm getting my wife into the series (she started with MM X, though) and it seemed so very important to share this small but very important and warm part of my memories. After all, I'm quite convinced that it was this amazing experience that leveraged me into game localization industry!

Hope all of you guys are doing well. My MM6 collector's edition that was a kind and generous gift from Peter2, is also such a nostalgia-inducing sight whenever I get to clean the dust off my shelves with important items...

The early classics from those discs that I've tried (MM3 and World of Xeen (i.e. MM4/MM5)) play well, although not quite perfectly, with Dosbox.

And I'm hoping that I can at last finish Swords of Xeen. The last dungeon (the spaceship) has always fallen over within 3–5 moves after entering. I've tried it using a pure DOS boot on an Intel 386 chip, and on a Win98 Dos shell on a later model (I can't remember whether it was using a 386 or a 486 chip), and neither ran that last dungeon successfully
