You did nothing to be sorry about. Frankly, Khalki should have left both threads up without comment. I have no idea why he felt the need to combine the only two threads that had been posted that day. You simply stated that the new patch was out and gave a link to this site. Any fan would have done the same if they had stumbled onto the patch as early as you did. I think it is Khalki who made a mistake.

I see you on many sites. Does Bones use them all? Can he be expected to spread the word alone? I think not. Post on, Dave; MM fans need to find this patch and they may not know about this tavern.

Seriously, if you could post some info on how this works or what a better way would be it would be very helpful.

I mean, who else would take it upon themselves to patch a game because they knew the developer wouldn't. Bones, Rustavius, and the rest of the patch group (sorry I don't know you by name!) did a great job. I for one know exactly how much work it takes to do what they did, and they will forever have my upmost respect for taking on such a tough project and seeing it through to the end.

And I also want to tip my hat to the rest of the fans of Might and Magic. Even the ones who hated MMIX. It really makes me happy that someone can be so passionate about a game series as to be able to call us on the stupid decisions we made, and make sure we don't do them again. (Like the promotion lockout bug. technically wasn't a bug, as it we did it on purpose. looking back now though, it was a terrible design decision and we never should have done it in the first place!)

So hopefully I'll be able to work on another RPG in the future. Until then, here's to you guys, the greatest fans in the world of gaming!

First I think I have to thank the people who have worked on this project. It's incredible how fan community, in M&M and other games, keep working and working making those games better than developers created them. And specially with the M&M games, now that the NWC future is uncertain, (even more the RPG M&M future), is really good to see that the game is alive, the community isn't dead at all, and there's hope for new M&M games. You are doing for these games more than you can think, so being a M&M fan that fell in love with these games playing M&MVII, thank you thank you thank you very much.

Now I'd like to ask about the compatibility with the international versions of the game. I'm spanish and I'm afraid I won't be able to enjoy this patch. Is it completely sure that it won't work with international versions?. Or it's just that you can't be sure that it will work, but perhaps it will?.
I'll check it anyway but I don't know if installing it will corrupt the game or I will notice all the bug fixed.
Anyway it would be hard to make a conversion?. I've read that Ice3 will be doing one for the french version, so how can that be done?. What skills you need to do it?, (programming or something... not archery or meditation ).
