Find out what integrated graphics chipset your laptop uses and search the web for 'open source Windows drivers'. The 'Windows' is important because most of the drivers you'll find are for Linux. However... That suggests another possible solution: boot your laptop to a Linux USB and load a Windows emulator. Some of the folks who frequent this Tavern could help you. I just know enough to know that it's possible. I've no idea whether or not the Linux drivers would fix the lighting problem, though.
