| Dual-wielding daggers – give him Black's Heart for one and Integris for the other, and the throwing dagger Trolleri as his ranged weapon – a high-ranked assassin has so many attacks that he does a lot of damage reliably. He does less damage per attack than the gladiator, but the higher number of attacks compensates for that. IIRC the gladiator isn't all that good at ranged combat, whereas the assassin is lethal. |
