| Hey so I just had this issue as well, found out in the autoexec.cfg file is an option for max fps, set the value in the " " to 35, will give you smooth gameplay and set the speed to normal. Issue comes from a newer high end graphics card processing the older game as fast as possible since the default max fps is 0. Kind of like the issue with Original Ex-Comm.
