There are two curved passages starting east of the main hall (where Yanmir himself starts off), and finishing up south of the main hall. Get yourself to the inner of the two passages, and halfway along, there will be a large alcove in the SW wall, with a door leading east and a door leading south. Take the southern door (the one on the right) and turn right at the first passage. This leads to a room, where you need to check out the bookcase on the far wall.
