It's installed to Program Files (x86)>3D0>Might and Magic IX and I don't have to give it special permissions to run, it'll run fine whether its in Admin or not. Also, the autoexec.cfg file has a value for the BitDepth. Now, I'm unaware of what it defaults to but I do know that it'll only run for me when set to 16 and not 32. I changed this value back and forth a lot while testing different options. Might be worth noting.
