I've played this game again over the past few days, and I noticed something rather strange. I got my lich up to Master in Learning, courtesy of the trainer in Thjorgard, Giorsal A'Velsi. A little later, I qualified him (or it, if you prefer) for GM and went looking for the trainer, Jenne Harisse, in her house in Yorwick village. And there, lo and behold, wandering around just outside, was another Giorsal A'Velsi, offering to promote qualified candidates to Expert and Master in Learning. NOW I know what they've been doing in the Lich Lab – I scream clones!
