| On another track entirely, you mentioned the word "unclear". One of the old atom spies in the UK was Bruno Pontecorvo, who escaped to communist Russia sometime in the early 1950's. I remember seeing a report in one of the scientific journals some time later that he'd been awarded the Stalin Prize for "unclear research." Strange, the snippets that one remembers and the others that one forgets. . . |
