I haven't had this problem with MM9 before -- but then I've never tried to re-install it. Uninstalling can leave registry entries behind which, if you re-install in a different location, give the program contradictory information -- such as where to find the game disk. First uninstall MM9. Next fire up Regedit and search for references to 'Might and Magic IX' and 'MM9'. Note that this key might be under 'Ubisoft' and/or '3DO'. Remove these keys and entries an then try re-installing. Let us know if that works. Thanks.
