I don't get to these boards very often, but I just had to say a big thank you to everyone involved in the creation of the 1.3a patch. I never really got into MM9 to any great extent because of the frequent crashes (1 out of every 3 times I had an area transition). I recently came back to the game and installed the 1.3a patch before I started. I've played through twice and am on my third play-through, and have only had two crashes so far (caused by weird and accidental key-press combinations). It has made a great game much more enjoyable, so thanks all for the hard work. I know there's been a long wait for the 1.4 patch, and it might never arrive, but if anyone can point me in the direction of any tools I would need, I'd be happy to contribute (assuming I can get my head round the whole thing). Bones warns of a steep learning curve, so I won't make any promises, but I've got time and the willingness to learn. I just don't have the information I would need to get started.
