Original Message:   im afraid i was looking to get to those black chests
i know, a hack n slacker, but sometimes thats what i like doing. "p-leveling" so to speak, and i was looking to get some artifacts from the dragon cave chests.

as for the bone quests, i have no idea what those are but will of course look it up.

i do understand the point, but i have different game moods, and this time around iv been looking to build up some formidable players. perhaps im not taking the time to enjoy the nuances of the dialogue and plot, but if i derive enjoyment from it i dont think it makes me any lesser of a gamer.

had that problem with individuals in some ad&d groups i was in back in the 80's. hack n slackers were always considered low brow knuckle-draggers, and these guys considered it the height of play to discourse about clothing, food, the rakish angle of their toon's jaunty cap, and "oh this town's architecture seems to be going through a post medieval phaze", etc, which means the dm woudl have to spend an hour thinking that stuff up.

but some of us just like to get in there and kill s---. sure, i can get into enjoyment of the minutiae of game-play, but eventually my bloodlust needs to be whetted. and yes im being somewhat hyperbolic in comparing gameplay minutiae with more important things such as basic plot, but i wanted to emphasize the breadth of playing styles, and each can be fun.

it can be argued that im not doign the game justice, and i can agree with that, but this wont be the last time i play this game, and this time i just wanted to get a bad--- group out there showing the evil folks and the creatures what time it is. remember this is the first time i have been able to actually loot from the black chests, and im somewhat giddy
