First, if a corrupted file is causing a problem then it is probably the install log -- which means that you can either re-install the game to create a new one or just rip the game out manually. There's no *big* problem caused by removing the game manually, but you'll probably miss some small stuff... ...like the entries under C:\Program Files, the Start menu and in the Registry. (Of course, there's no assurance that a formal uninstall would clear out all the Registry entries.) My recommendation is to re-install the game in the exact same location and then try the uninstall again. If that doesn't work then you can always do it manually. |
