TELP's patch didn't change the distribution of the monsters. As noted earlier, that's the way the game was made. Our patch did change the THall respawn to 1 month, but if you really want to get loot unrealisticly then you can delete the minisaves and re-enter right away. You can do that to any map. I think the real reason that there's no flying ability is that gaining enough altitude would force to graphics engine to work too hard. Hardware still isn't advanced enough to do that with modern 3D graphics.
