Original Message:   Small difference exists.
Priest can be GM in both Light and Spirit skills. That gives to him/her ability to cast Wizard Eye on GM level (WE is Light and Spirit dependant). Mage can be only an expert on Spirit and cannot see treasure on minimap as blue dots. Not so important, but still useful sometimes to have a Priest in your party.
