After spending several days hacking around the place trying to turn my scholar into a lich, I finally managed it. But I sure don't like the result! It's turned my nice timid female party member into an ugly skeletal monster. Is it possible, while you are still a scholar, to change your candidacy from lich to mage? If so I think I'll load an earlier save and do it, even if it does mean losing all my work in defeating the lich lab. I really don't want to hack around the rest of the game with this monstrosity in my party!
