I'm probably the only regular poster on this board that is a Wizardry fan. I highly recommend Wizardry 8 and Flamestryke's Mod to Wiz8. For me, it's a good game and very challenging. First person party based with RT overland movement. The only drawback I can find is the TB combat (all combat is TB). Many MM fans don't like the respawn feature (you can't "clear: an area since all areas respawn randomly). Ther skill system is "learn by doing" as in Morrowind.
