but they are both heavily invested in D&D rules. Also, neither one of them is a first-person game; you will be looking down upon your party members all the time. My son loves NWN, chiefly because he loves to create his own dungeons (not that he's ever finished any; he just loves to play around with it). But even the short canned adventure it comes with is entertaining. If you can stand the 3-D motion (I can't endure it for very long at a time without motion sickness) Morrowind seems more M&M-like. It's first person, anyway and the rule system is not D&D. The drawback is that you can't buy the skills; you have to use them to gain skill levels. |
