Original Message:   I'm not sure if that is correct...let me see if I can explain this...
IRRC, there is a range of weapons governed by the 'thrown' skill, and at least a couple of them are indeed daggers. But Melee daggers are in a different category entirely. I believe it depends on where you equip it to. If you equip the dagger or throwing axe to the slot where you might normally put a bow, then it falls under the 'thrown' category, and you must have sufficient 'thrown' skills to use it. If, however, you are equipping into your hands, where you might normally have a sword, or shield, or some other hand-held weapon, then it falls under the 'blade' category and you must have sufficient 'blade' skill to use it. I believe the line that is throwing you off in the GM 'Thrown' description simply means that you will get a second attack with the 'thrown' weapon that you have equipped. Does this help you at all?
