I thought that was substantially what I said - that Faith cast by either Paladin or Druid affects only one character, whereas it can affect the whole party when cast by Priest or Mage.

I suspect the Paladin will be better, but the difference may be smaller than you might think. After attaining GM in Unarmed and Dodge, the Druid is a good melée fighter, especially in real-time combat, where his speed is a huge advantage. And of course, he is an incomparably better spellcaster than the Paladin.
