Original Message:   The party I have in mind right now
is a Knight (as a starting char), Freddi and Caury and that's it. As I already wrote I hate changing chars throughout the game - I like to witness their development as the game progresses (and also to do all the quests with the same party) although I know I might be missing on quite a fire- or spell-power as a consequence. What I am going to do this time is to buy Fly scroll and get Cauri ASAP (with lvl 1 party, now easy - been there, done that), return to the Dagger Wound Island and start the game with only one quest completed - the power crystal one and tehn slowly proceed through DWI local quests...

I always played MM8 with a complete party and always with Ithigor but it would always be a little too easy...

So this time I thought it could be a good idea to try a party of 3: -Knight - for pure malee, excellent fighter, good AC, good hp, GM armsmaster! (+ GM bless and heroism and he is unstoppable) -Cauri - well, I don't know where to begin - GM bow gives you excellent ranged support, Master Dagger can do the trick in malee and all the elemental magics (think support spells): TP, Fly, Invisibility, Wizard Eye, Torch light...an amazing all-around chars. -and Freddi - GM mace, good AC + shield, and of course healing and imagine HoP at GM light. And his promo is daed easy to accomplish. This time, however, I am going to develop Freddi in a slightly different way: I will leave mind and spirit at base, get GM Body and pump the rest into GM Light for HoP Maybe I will even leave mace at Expert and and Chain and Shield at Ex also (maybe at base?).

Do you think I can buy levitate scroll?

What do you think of such a party of only 3 chars? I think they should strike the right balance.
