I've already made MMs 6-8 with 1lvl party cleaning out all locations and making all quests, MM1-5 seem to be impossible (impAssible) with lvl1 party, but MM9 is hard but actually possible. One of the hardest quest should be "mountain pass" - too much fighting with too nasty monsters. MM6-8 had really nice ability to hit&save, then to load&hit&save that gave ability to clean the hardest locations full of dragons with 1lvl party without magic and weapons  . MM9 no longer provides such ability, so.. GL at lich lab
