You mustn't wear body armour or carry a shield, but TTBOMK anything else is OK. As a rule of thumb, anything you could sell only at an armoury in MM6-8 is incompatible with Dodge. Anything you could also sell at the Items shop is OK, and that includes gloves, helms, belts, boots, and cloaks.
