| I'm a night owl - always was. But I take your point. We spent a holiday up in the Orkney Islands some years ago. That felt distinctly odd. Dusk was about 10.30 p.m., it never got really dark, and dawn was about 2.15 a.m. I mentioned this to the lady who ran the place we were staying in, and she said yes, but in Winter, dawn is about 10.30 a.m. and it's dark again by about 3.30 p.m. |
