And neither is the new Prof at Tampere University. John Moores University in Liverpool has been running a course on "The Science of Science Fiction" for some years. It covers things like: Introduction to the History of Science Fiction Cinema and Literature, Main ideas of Science Fiction and their connection with Science, Mass and Energy, The Structure of the Universe, Computers and Artifical Intelligence, and finally Extra-Solar Planets and Life My only comment is "It's life, Jim, but not as we know it."
