I remember reading something about this a LONG time ago. Did this turn out to be a pipe-dream some fans had? Swords of Xeen was a very decent fan-made game, but it's very rare to see such a game actually released. I saw one MMT demo ages ago but it was very simplistic and gave me little hope that the current crew could churn out anything good. It kinda reminded me of Cleve Blakemore's project, Grimoire. A lot of discussion but very little coding to back it up. I'd say that the time limit for a MM clone of any type is almost over. If the Tribute game still exists, it would need to at least show a playable demo while people are playing Messiah.
