I did the scholar quest, then started the mage promotion quest for my mage to be. I'm pretty sure I put her down as a canidate, but when I complete the quest and hand in the last golden book, the npc tells me I'm now promoted to mage. However, my little scholar is still a scholar and not a mage. I even went back some in my game to try to see if I did put her in as a canidate but after the first time you talk to him, he just tells you the task to be done and I suggest people to be promoted. Any help or suggestions appreciated.
