and that is about checking your keyboard/mouse layout. I've never changed these settings and never had that problem but have seen here that some people who have changed their settings have set the keys/buttons for the melee/ranged attacks, or ranged attacks/spells, and neglected to reprogram a key/button for talking. However, since you mentioned being able to talk to the Dockmaster it seems as though this is not the case for you, so I am stumped. Basically this post is a waste of space and I hope that somebody with more knowledge comes and helps you soon.
