Original Message:   An artifact!!!
Mr. computer pro here (cough cough) had the game come down after changing the last value in the 000000 to 000004 but then saw that your statement was not to change a value in that line but the 3e itself. I have an artifact. Thanks so much. After finding a suitable editor it did work. I very much appreciate it. yes, i unknowingly did chunk a lot of artifacts in the first place i visited. Lost some in mm8 that way (who would think of going to the back side of a building on a hill and just happening to touch the upper part of it to look for an artifact???). Being able to get some back in mm9 sure is nice now. Didn't have any idea i would actually get this thing working but your description was essential to that and once finding an editor that i could figure out the rest worked out in a nifty way. (am i dating myself using the term 'nifty'? Again, my appreciation of all your help on this. The other options weren't working but this one seems to be doing the trick. This is way cool! Tim
