Might a scratched disk be causing this problem as well? Cirumfrential scratches are much worse than radial ones. If scratched a disk can be polished, and a polishing kit is a worthwhile investment. Or perhaps there's a problem with your optical drive. A dirty or misaligned lens could cause read problems. You might try a different drive or use a lens cleaning disk. |
