Yes, I'm using DX 9.0c. I tried disabling all three options in DxDiag and reenabled them. No joy. Also, rechecked the driver from ATI - most current. Ran test Directdraw, test Direct3D, test Directsound. All passed. No notes on DirectX Files, Display, or Sound tabs, all say "No problems Found." Tried switching to 16 bit color/800x600 display. No joy. Checked Control Device Manger for unrecognized display drivers - ATI X300/X500 driver in place. Ran DX troubleshooter; it suggested I "uncheck" Enable write combining on the Display Properties/Settings/Advanced/Troubleshoot tab. Tried that restarted, no joy, rechecked and restarted again. Any idea?
