I am also experienceing those annoying graphics troubles and very poor frame rates. 2Ghz AMD 3000XP, GF-6600GT, 512 Mb RAM. All patches. I think that it is the Lithtech engine is not compatable with these next generation graphics cards. I install M&M9 with the same patches on a P3-750Mhz, GeFaorce 3 (64Meg video ram), 512system ram. No graphics problems or frame rate issues. Just another example of 3DO's collapse before finsishing the game.
